Chicora Tours is proudly in association with Fort Sumter Tours to give our guests the privilege of seeing where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. After taking the 90-minute Historic Private Driving Tour guests will be transported to the Aquarium Wharf and board the vessel and be taken to Fort Sumter. From there, you will be given a fully-guided tour of Fort Sumter from a National Park Service Ranger. After the tour concludes, guests will be taken back to the aquarium wharf via boat. Chicora Tours will transport the guests back to the starting location.

Relax and enjoy a Live Narration by a Licensed-Tour Guide. This means that you will spend 90 minutes cruising the Charleston Harbor, hearing about the city’s incredible history and stories as well as seeing the areas most important landmarks such as Fort Sumter, the Uss Yorktown CV-10 Aircraft Carrier, The Battery, The Ravenel Bridge, Castle Pinckney and other historic sites.

The Charleston Harbor Cruise departs from the downtown Aquarium Wharf daily. This experience is perfect for families and all-ages.
